Damn good burger. Literally the best part of the meal, if you like quality burgers with extra thick patties. This is your kind of place. Damn good sides. Great service from Matt! He was polite and working his butt off as the only front of house. Cleaning, taking orders and serving tables. Chef in back was doing their best work too of course! Me, my husband and my friend jammed out to the music, enjoyed the rich atmosphere and fully intend to come back with friends! Get more bread for when I do please!
What a cool and unique vibe! Stew was working when we came in and was such an easy guy to chat with; we really enjoyed talking to him. Cleary this place is a labour of love. The food was delicious (lots of vegetarian options) and everything was well priced. Love seeing such a niche vibe!
Exactly what you expect out of a place that serves burgers with pulled pork in them. We'll be back to enjoy some metal themed food. Favorites on the drink selection. Great food. Great service.
I went here while visiting from BC. Highly recommended by friends. Definitely heavy metal vibes. Service was fast and efficient. He wasn't very chatty but I assume that's the vibe they want to give. All of our food was amazing. Good pub style food for the price. I'm actually surprised by the bad reviews as we had such a great experience. I will definitely be back.
AMAZING! Everything about this experience was incredible. Our server was super friendly and lovely and crafted me a homemade mocktail that knocked my socks off. The food was excellent, especially the sweet potato fries, which were top tier (and I've had a lot of sweet potato fries in my day). And the atmosphere! So good. So much fun. I'd rate it 6/5 stars if I could!
The atmosphere was very interesting and different. Food was great drinks were nice.service was amazing, the guy who helped us with our order was nice and attentive. I’m very picky with my burger but I found our burgers very tasty . Music is a little loud but its the characteristics of the place, so it would not be easy to have a long conversation. But you can definitely enjoy the food and listen to metal music. I would definitely go back to try more food there.
Had a great meal this afternoon. I took my kids, who are not heavy metal fans, but they enjoyed it. Luckily, it was a lot of eighties power metal and thrash, which was great for me, and my kids were ok with it. It is loud, which I liked, but may not be for everyone. Service was very friendly and efficient. They send answers all our questions, and checked on is during our meal. Food was great, and as others have said, their poutine is fantastic. We shared a punk rock sized Cheesus Krist poutine, very tasty. Between us, we ate. Lacuna Coil Wrap, a Mephisto and a Behemoth burger. Great time, and hope to go again.
The problem with formal diners like the keg is sometimes the food ingredients are cheaply brought in, and they have a large kitchen with many cooks. This place had one cook, a great menu, and some demonic, heavy metal music to give you an appetite for your food. If you want somewhere to start off I had the Korn Poutine with the Pazuzu burger, both were delicious alone and combined.
